Visibility tiers
Every field Bizisy holds about a person has a tier. The tier decides who sees it, in the web apps, in API and MCP results, in exports and in webhook payloads. Fields you may not see come back null (or are left out, for custom fields), and every person result carries visible_tiers, the tiers you got.
The four tiers#

Through an API key or a connected app, private and pay data go to nobody but the person themself.

}A null can mean "empty" or "not yours to see": visible_tiers tells them apart. Lists (org.people.list, the directory) return public fields only; read one person with org.people.get.
Custom fields#
Each custom field has a tier of its own: public, job or private (default private). org.fields.create sets it. Widening a tier while people already have values would show those values to more people, so org.fields.update refuses it unless the change is confirmed in the app.
Documents and open positions#
- Documents have their own visibility (shared with the person, their managers, HR, or everyone for company documents). See Documents.
- Open positions: notes are for owners, admins and HR; the budget (
pay_range) only for them signed in to Bizisy, never through a key.
Webhooks#
Webhook payloads carry the public and job tiers only, as an HR key would see them: never private details and never pay.
