Activity and links back to Bizisy

On this page

Every change in Bizisy is recorded in Activity: what changed, who made it, through what (the web app, which API key, which connected app) and links to what it touched. Your integration's changes show up there next to everyone else's, so HR can always see what happened and why.

What gets recorded#

CallRecorded
A write that is saved, from any channelYes, status: "ok"
A REST dry runNo
An MCP preview (dry_run: true)Yes, status: "dry_run"
A failed MCP writeYes, status: "error", with the error
ReadsNo (downloading a person's document is a write and is recorded)

Each entry has the action, a one-line summary with no personal details, the channel (ui, api, mcp or job), the actor with the credential they used (credential.kind, credential.name: the key's or app's name), the input (only field names for actions that carry personal data), the events it emitted and subject_ids: the ids of the records it's about.

Reading Activity#

  • platform.activity.list: newest first, filtered by status, channel, action_id, actor_user_id or subject_id (everything about one person, for example). Owners, admins and HR with a Manage key see the whole company; everyone else, and every Me key, sees their own.
  • platform.activity.get: one entry by id.
Shell
curl https://api.bizisy.com/v1/platform/activity.list \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $BIZISY_API_KEY" -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"subject_id": "p1", "limit": 20}'

Actions declare where their result can be seen in the web app.

  • Through MCP, every tool result carries links (label and absolute URL on the company address) and, for changes and previews, view_url: the Activity entry of that call. The text the assistant reads ends with "View in Bizisy: ", and the server instructions ask assistants to show it, so the person can check the change in one click.
  • Activity entries carry the same links, as paths on the company address (/manage/people/p1).
  • REST responses carry the result only (data); find the record's links through Activity if you need them.
